Will Work for Money

So, I don't know if I have ever filled you in on all the things I do, most of them for little or no income. I am like ADHD as far as career/hobbies/extra curricular stuff goes. Here's the list:
Coffee roasting business
Face Painting business
Graphic Design freelance
Blogging
Writing articles for local paper and other publications
Painting, altered art, drawing, etc.
Resin jewelry
La Leche Leader
Birthday Invitations
Doula training
on top of being a mom, wife, avid reader, lazy housekeeper, part time caretaker for my mom, on and on and on...

I only get actual income, intermittently, from like four of those! Sheesh, what is wrong with me? Why can't I focus on like one or two things??

This all leads to me needing to find a reliable weekly income. BUT, and that is a big but ("That's what she said!"), I can only work the hours and days the kids are in school. I am not willing to put them in an after-school program. I have been looking for a job like this for the last year and a half but everyone wanted me to work THEIR hours, including Saturdays. Very frustrating...but now I have heard back that I have a job!

Part time, the hours the kid's are in school, four days a week. Sweet! And the pay is good, the work is a culmination of all my work experience (well, not ALL, I won't be caring for sharks, or painting birdhouse, making cheesesteaks, painting pottery, caring for children...all past jobs).

Figuring out how to fit this large puzzle piece into my already jam packed Life puzzle is going to be an adjustment. Scootch over blogging, suck it in coffee business, tuck your arms in kids...I gotta fit this piece in here somehwere. So, I will keep you updated on how it is all fitting together.

I start tomorrow, wish me luck!

  7. You sound like me- I love to take things on that I can't possibly have enough time for. Lately I've been taking it "easy" but I can't wait until my little one is old enough for preschool and I can get back into the swing of things!

I'm sure it will all come together, and you will feel much more complete and organized...(I admit I scanned that list you had and panicked a little of how you did it all. Then again if I made a list of all the activities I am committed too, I WOULD panick...so let's get off this topic)

    How wonderful for you!!

Good luck on your 1st day! Knock em dead:)
