I continue to amaze myself with simple items I find in my cupboards and leftover from other meals to create cute, edible lunches for The Flummoxers.
Sliders (from dinner- Bella's request), pickle, cherry tomato (from our garden) and mozzarella skewer, sweet potato chips (from dinner), banana peanut butter mice: thick sliced banana in a mini-cupcake cup, dollop of p-nut butter mixed with honey, 2 quarters of chocolate coin for ears, sunflower seed nose, dried blueberry eyes, gaps filled with oat bran cereal for nibbling
Dumplings (frozen then steamed), edamame (steamed with dumplings), sliced spam (leftover from dinner), canned peaches (found in pantry?), grape skewer, cottage cheese with a little sugar and cinnamom and crushed p-nuts on top

These are amazing little lunches...I wish I had the time to do this...more than that I wish my kids would actually eat it :)
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies. I have actually found that if I prepare ingredients while I am preparing dinner that putting their lunches together goes pretty quickly and some stuff still comes home partially or not eaten. Oh well!
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get your containers? I love the oval shape
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome! I want some. My kids may actually eat.
