Beeentooo!

These are my bento boxes. Well, technically the red is Zo’s, the blue is Bella’s and I got the yellow by default. But I love them. They are so compact and pretty. There are two layers (the yellow is opened up) and you can pack all the foods in snugly without plastic baggies and packaging. The girls love them because it is like opening a little gift from me each day. You can see more about the art of Bento Boxes here, but I will rarely have the time or energy to attempt one of those creations.

Last week I packed a PB & J cut in triangles (one half on each tier), grapes, carrots, and corn chips for Bella and a turkey sandwich for Zo (everything else the same).

I will try to take pics of my more creative attempts. If I am not too busy blogging and blogging about blogging and reading about blogs.

  4. I've never seen these boxes before - I definitely need to find some. Tough to find stuff like this out in the Caribbean.

  5. I wish I saw this post before I bought my daughter's lunch box for school. Or, maybe I can find one to fit in her box. So cool! She's into anything Asian and this would make a great addition to back to school. Where did you find them?
